Pocket money (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Some adults believe that teenagers do not need pocket money, others are sure that it is necessary. The problem of pocket money occurs in many modern families. Although grown-ups have different attitudes to this issue. Some parents suppose that teenagers cannot do without a daily sum of money, while others against it.

And now I would like to express my own opinion on the point. Firstly, the daily allowance helps children to gain independence from adults, it will prepare them for the future. Besides that, they are taught to spend money reasonably and even save it for own needs. Finally, giving picket money parents will not worry about their children.

However, there is an opposing opinion on the question. Parents who are against consider that pocket money spoil their children and make them selfish.

First of all, teenagers can spend money on useless things or even cigarettes and alcohol. In addition, they can laugh at children who have no money and put themselves above others what makes them arrogant.

As for me, I do not agree with the previous opinion, because children should be controlled by their parents in order to avoid a negative situation, and if they are controlled they will not spend money on such things. Also, I think we should be kind to each other.

In conclusion, I would like to say that modern life is impossible without pocket money because teens may face some troubles or need urgent, but undoubtedly adults have to look after their children and spent more time with them.
