It’s not right to be strict with little children example (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

It is known that there are many ways of bringing up children. Some people believe that it is wrong to behave strictly with little kids whereas others disagree. I would like to express my point of view on this topic.

Personally, I believe that it is really not right to be strict with little children. Firstly, little kids are very sensitive and unstable. Parents need to treat children at this age carefully and teach them how to behave correctly without abuse and punishments. Handling them strictly can seriously hurt children and leave them with bad childhood memories. Secondly, kids really need parental love and care when they are little. If parents treat their children too strictly and do not provide them with the necessary support and help, there will be a lot of misunderstandings and mistrust between them in the future.

However, some people suppose that it is right to be strict with little kids.

They consider that strictness helps to properly educate children, discipline them and make them more obedient. Gentle attitude can make a child become naughty and capricious.

In spite of these facts, I disagree with this opinion. The most important thing in relationships between a child and a parent is not discipline and good behaviour of a child, but understanding, love and support. Kids should feel loved in the family and receive only positive memories from their childhood.

To sum up, I strongly believe that it is not right to be strict with little children as it can seriously worsen relationships between children and parents.
