1. Эссе.

Some people claim that keeping animals in zoos is cruel, while others presume that it is not unfair at all. Now I would like to express my point of view on this issue.

I strongly believe that it is fair to keep animals in zoos. Firstly, they are well-protected from their natural enemies. They will not be attacked, even killed and eaten by other ones. Secondly, there are a lot of people in zoos who take care of the wild animals. For example, there are many veterinarian or medical workers who help animals if they get sick. Moreover, in zoos animals can feel better than in the wild nature due to satisfactory conditions in zoos.

However, there is another side to this issue.

My opponents presume that keeping animals in those places is cruel because they are cut from the wild nature where ones must live. As a result, they do not feel happy and free.

Nevertheless, in spite of this convincing argument, I strongly believe that some animals have already been born in zoos, so they do not really suffer. They are used to living in the habitat in those places from the birth.

In conclusion, the issue raised in the essay is rather controversial. Nonetheless, I would like to say that keeping animals in zoos is not a terrifying thing because they are protected and really loved there.

Thank you for your recent letter. It was great to hear from you again. Sorry, I couldn’t answer at once because I was busy with my French project.
