Some people think that young people should follow their parents' footsteps when choosing a profession (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

In today’s world the problem of children’s career choice causes great argument and controversy. Some people believe that kids should choose their parents’ jobs while others do not agree with it.

My personal view is that children should make their own way in life, not following parents’ footsteps. To start with, an adults’ profession may be not modern or even disappearing. Furthermore, a job should forward young persons’ interests but not his parents’ ones. Additionally, children usually want to have a better life than parents have and choose more gainful jobs.

However, there exists another point of view on this issue. First of all, children are grown up in parents’ surroundings. Kids are similar to their adults; they have identical interests. It would be easier for children to master a parents’ profession.

Moreover, adults and the young may help each other in a job and develop together.

Despite my respect for this opinion, I cannot share it because children usually know all minuses of a parent’s profession and do not want to accept them. Besides, it will be difficult for parents to help with a profession they do not know, so choosing a different job children can achieve everything themselves only and it is far better.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above, I must admit that children should not choose parents’ professions. Teens should make their own way and follow their own goals.
