Science in the first thing to be financed in the modern world (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays some people hold the opinion that money should be invested in science. However, opponents of this view say that there are a lot of things which are more important to be financed. This problem has always worried people and the answer to it is not simple.

In my opinion, people should invest in science. Firstly, scientists invent a lot of things that improve people`s life or make it easier. For instance, nowadays a lot of money is invested in medicine. Scientists invent new technology to treat serious diseases. Secondly, government or investors should givi money for scientific expeditions. For example, it is necessary to explore space to find new place where people can live because today overpopulation is a big problem.

Also, people should explore oceans which aren`t researched enough and study plants and mineral resources that can help people to live.

Nevertheless, some people suppose that investing in science is a waste of money. There are many inventions which cause serious problems such as pollution, global warming and greenhouse gases.

I cannot completely agree with the above opinion because scientists do their best to protect environment. They suggested using solar energy, water and wind power, fossil fuel and methods to protect animals and forests and many others.

Taking into consideration all mentioned above I am convinced that science is the most important issue which c=should be financed. It makes our life better and easier.
