Keeping pets (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

As you know, nowadays most people keep animals at home but often we do not realize why we do it. Certainly, there are people who keep pets because of their endless love for animals. However, a great number of them find keeping animals waste of time and money.

My personal view is that having a pet at home has several benefits. To begin with, if there is only one child in a family, he or she needs to communicate with animals. It helps to be more kind and tolerant. Moreover, communicating with animals gives you aesthetic pleasure. You learn how to be merciful towards not only animals but people as well. In addition, pets serve as friends to lonely people. Talking with them, feeding them and just living with them side by side makes their life more exciting and not so boring.

Nevertheless, some people think that keeping pets at home is meaningless and brings a lot of problems.

For example, they need to play with them and constant caress. Besides that, they can be aggressive, irritated and to hurt others. Also, they can get sick and veterinarian services are not the cheapest.

As for me, I do not agree with the previous opinion. I am convinced that if an owner does not pay attention to a pet, then an animal will not be able to understand how to behave itself.

In conclusion, I would like to say that it is up only to you to decide can you take responsibility to bring up this creature or you are not ready to take on it
