I was very glad to get your letter. I should have written earlier, but I have been busy at school.

It is great that you like Chicago! If I could choose, I would like to live somewhere in South Europe, because there is a nice climate. Now big cities can give a great possibilities to live convinced and comfortable. In Russia, especially for young people, it is not easy to change their residence.

I think that without somebody’s help or contacts it is probably impossible to move somewhere in a short time.

Happy for your brother Mike! What does he do? Is it permanent or temporary job? Is it risky or not? Unfortunately, I have to go now. Hope to hear from you soon.

«Exams motivate students to study harder»

Nowadays, every student has to face finial exams. It will show the result of your work during a certain period of time. For many of students it is a real disaster.

In my opinion, exams motivate students to study harder. Firstly, exam period is always stressful and if one wants to be self-confident he/she motivated to prepare profitably. Secondly, most students take exams serious and on passing them well may depends everything. Finally, students do not want to disappoint their parents, teachers and etc, so studying harder is necessary.

On the contrast, there exists another point of view. Someone says that for many people exams are that stressful that they just cannot do anything connected with them- they are just afraid of them and leave the preparation on the last day.

I cannot agree with the opinion above. I believe that if a student set-up on passing exams well he/she will cope with stress and realise the importance of it.

In conclusion, I would like to point out that attitude to studying differs from person to person and hardworking does not depends on coming exams: some people are motivated on the best result even without them.
