There are more disadvantages than advantages in living in a big city (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

As times changed, the majority of people moved from villages to towns or cities. However, the question whether megapolis is the best choice for living still causes great arguments and controversy. In this essay I will express my point of view on this issue.

To my mind, residing in a big city is not worth all the drawbacks it has. First of all, polluted urban air leads to respiratory distress and even cancer. All the motor vehicles, factories and plants turn chemicals into poisonous smog that is very harmful for our health. Secondly, high concentration of people and traffic congestions make using transport inconvenient. Every day it takes you a lot of time simply to get to work or take children to school.

Nevertheless, some people claim that living in a metropolitan area is much more convenient and interesting than in a countryside because of all the amenities and entertainment facilities it provide you with.

I can not agree with my opponents.

I am strongly convenience that even a small hamlet can give you all the conditions for happy living. You can install your own heating and TV systems and Wi-Fi, go to a local cinema and amuse yourself with watching movies.

All in all, the results of the choice between the city and the country depend very much on an individual, it is a question of preference. However, making such an important decision you should always consider all the pros and cons of variants, that a mentioned above. That is all i wanted to say if we are speaking about this theme.
