40. Online learning will soon substitute face-to-face instruction (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

The question of whether distance education can replace full-time one will always be controversial. Although many people believe that it is better to study face-to-face with a teacher, others claim that online learning gives more opportunities for a person.

In my opinion, distance learning is one of the best ways of education. Firstly, it is convenient for a student to stay at home and study at his own pace.

It brings plenty of advantages, such as closing knowledge gaps because you do not have to hurry up. Secondly, if you study online, you do not have to reschedule a class because of your sickness or bad weather conditions, for example. It gives more opportunities to study almost in every situation that is not possible in face-to-face learning.

However, not all people are ready to share my point of view. They claim that you do not have any guarantees to find a good tutor on the Internet because some of them can be too young and inexperienced. Moreover, distance learning will never replace face-to-face education because some students do not have assiduity to study online. They need control from a teacher's side. It can provide only full-time education.

I cannot fully agree with the statement above. On the Internet, you are not limited in capabilities, so you can choose any tutor you like all around the globe. Additionally, distance learning also develops the self-control of a person. It is a way to check your abilities to concentrate.

To sum up, I hope that everybody can choose the way which he or she prefers. Everything depends on a person's attitude to studies.
