There is a popular opinion that a person who speaks a foreign language fluently will succeed in teaching it other people. At the same time, there are some people who believe that knowing it perfectly is not enough to become a good teacher. Now I would like to express my point of view on this issue.

In my opinion, there are some important qualities that a person must have to become good at teaching. Let us start by considering the facts.

The first thing that needs to be said is that an individual who wants to develop as a foreign language educator must be patient and sociable to communicate with his students, because teachers have to work with people on a daily basis. Secondly, it is extremely important to obtain a teaching degree to become a well-qualified pedagogue, because in teaching area it is necessary to have a large baggage of knowledge to share it with students.

However, there is an opposite point of view that a foreign language speaker will not have any problems with teaching it, because for a person who truly desires to dedicate his life to teaching others speaking a foreign language fluently will be enough.

I do not entirely agree. It is true that it is important to enjoy your job but without a huge amount of work experience it will be difficult to teach anyone anything.

In conclusion, I would like to say that teaching foreign languages is a hard work that requires more than just knowing the language perfectly.
