ÏÎÈÑÊ:In any occupation discipline is more important than talent 1987 (Ñî÷èíåíèÿ ÅÃÝ àíãëèéñêèé ÿçûê)It is often suggested that regular work, efforts made are far more vital and influential in the process of any activity than some skills, given from the birth. However, a significant part of talented students supports the opposite point of view. To my mind the image of discipline is more important than talent as an individual sets higher goals while showing only efforts, consequently achieving greater results. Moreover, during a trying task workaholic receives more valuable experience than a talented person, being naturally eager to do everything quickly. In addition, a hard worker is always willing to be on the same level with a gifted one, therefore a hardworking person can always overmaster one’s skills to a greater extend. Nevertheless, some talented students claim that talent can form new technologies as it breaks the borders of an ordinary occupation approach. More than that, with the help of it people can enrich greater progress in any sphere today. Personally, I disagree with students’ opinion since gifted ones will have no trigger to master their skills as ones already feel that they are on top. esides, laziness is to grow from such point of view, which doesn’t encourage students to build themselves. To sum up, I’m convinced that quantity of efforts, made by workers and self-determined individuals forms far more mastered and useful skills, even though with the help of a talent students and people can achieve progressive future and technologies.
