The invention of the car changed the world for the worse (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

There is one very profound statement which says that the creation of cars has many negative effects on our world. Many people agree with it, but the opponents believe that automobiles bring us lots of benefits.

It causes wide controversy. Let us examine each point of view in detail.

I agree with the second statement. To begin with, cars let us travel anywhere we want extremely fast. Now it takes you very little time to get to the destination, so you save lots of it to do really important things, like spending hours with your dearest and nearest. Also, people used to buy expensive train tickets and wait for an exact time to begin their trip. But since automobiles have been invented we do not need to do these necessary things, as we are not so dependent on schedules and ticket prices, which saves us lots of time and money.

However, some people have a different opinion.

They claim that these vehicles emit poisonous gases, which are the main reasons for modern environmental problems.

I disagree with this opinion. Car manufacturers are aware of this disadvantage and try to get rid of it. As a result, there are lots of electronic automobiles nowadays, which do not pollute the environment at all.

In conclusion it should be mentioned, that the only big drawback electric cars have is that they are very expensive. And as not everyone can afford them, environmental problems are not going to disappear any time soon.
