Nowadays there are different points of view on reliability of online news as a source of information. Some people think it is always factual, trustworthy and dependable. Others, on the contrary, complain that the information is not accurate and sometimes random there. Let me express my own opinion.

To my mind, relying only on online news may be like a blindness. First of all, there are a lot of amateurs in the Internet who are trying to cover events without special knowledge and skills. Secondly, some journalists can spread misinformation in accordance with their own goals. Also, there are websites which are caring only about making a profit but not submitting real facts.

However, there are people who have the opposing opinion. They believe that the government does not control the Internet and websites are free of censorship and propaganda, so the information is more trustworthy there.

What is more, the space of the online news sites is more than TV or newspapers. So it is easier to find correct facts there.

Nevertheless, I disagree with these statements. Some websites might have a good and dependable look, but not have qualified experts and journalists working on it. In addition, we need to look for the necessary information in several sources and always compare it to not be taken in.

In conclusion, I would like to say that nowadays people face with a huge amount of information every day. So we always have to check news, verify it and compare things in different means of communication to be sure in real facts.
