Imagine that you are doing a project on the sources of information teenagers in Zetland use most often. You have found some data on the subject - the results of the opinion polls (see the table below) (ЕГЭ) (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)
The majority of those who voted use web browsers to learn new information (38%). In second place, teenagers consider their peers as a source of information (26%). There’s a difference in the number of the respondents that get new information from peers and family, making up 9%. Television (13%) and periodicals (6%) are much less popular among teenagers than the leaders of this table. So, the web browser and peers are approximately six times better-used to get information than television and periodical literature. It can be inferred that teenagers in Zetland trust web browsers and peers more than their family and television in getting information. Although there are many ways of getting information, teenagers can face difficulties while searching for it using web browsers. For example, they may encounter false information, which will have a detrimental effect on their knowledge in all areas. I believe that the best way to solve this problem is to take information only from verified sites. In conclusion, I’d like to say that, in my opinion, the best way to get up-to-date information is a web browser, because this way you can easily and quickly find the information you need.
