Nowadays a large amount of advertising is aimed at children. Some people think it is negative for children and should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Today in the consumer society, the amount of advertising that is aimed at a children's audience is growing. While some argue that there is nothing harmful in this trend, I am convinced that advertising aimed at developing bad habits in a child should be prohibited, but there is advertising that promotes their development, which works in the interests of children and their parents.

To commence with, a child-targeted advertising count on childish naivety and easily lured.

In young age it is very difficult to differentiate between reality and fantasy picture of desired product due to lack of life experience. Thus, kids who to take everything at face value throw tantrums to make parents buy them totally useless product. To exemplify, one of the most striking examples is McDonald's, who puts low-quality toys in some dishes to interest an innocent child. Thus, the company persuade child to eat a junk food full of fat and salt.

All the same, there is also social advertising that foster children’s wellbeing educating them by promoting good habits. Watching social videos such as promoting eco-friendly lifestyle or video about sick people who do need help, an impressionable child can look at life problems from the other side and realized that he or she should try to solve them. For instance, personally, many children begin to be sensitive to the problems of environmental pollution after watching social advertising, which clearly shows the terrifying consequences of consumption. Impressive children feel sorry for dying animals and plants, which contributes to the development of their conscious consumption habits
