A lot of people really enjoy traveling nowadays. And they travel all over the world. However, there is an opinion that only young people travel and that old people are better off at home than traveling. Is it so? In this essay I will express my position on this topic.

I absolutely disagree with this opinion. To begin with, when I traveled I saw a lot of elderly people. I think they can afford to travel because they have a lot of free time unlike young. Besides, older people usually have less need for things like clothes, accessories, cosmetics, etcetera. Which means that it’s easier for them to save money for traveling.

There are people who disagree with my opinion.

Firstly, they think that it can be difficult for them, because senior citizens often have some problems with their health. Because of this, it can be hard for them to endure long trips by train or plane. Secondly, retirees quite often want to just relax at home and spend time quietly and therefore traveling is not for them. Thirdly, at this age, people are often too lazy to do anything, especially such as traveling.

Despite the fact that truthful things were also said in the opposite point of view, I believe that old people can travelling with pleasure, just like young people. They are also interested in traveling and learning new things.

In conclusion, I want to say that traveling for all people of all ages, there can be no restrictions.
