Tourism has negative environmental impacts on tourist areas (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Today a lot of people on our planet love traveling. Somebody believe that tourism zones suffer from modern visitors. Is it so? In this essay I would like to express my point of view on this issue.

In my opinion, mass tourism cannot do much harm for the nature of foreign countries. Firstly, I think that most people have the same manners and they understand what can and cannot be done. I travelled many times and very rarely met uncultured people who could harm monuments or places for tourism. Secondly, I believe that now in especially significant places there is a guard that controls what happening. Thirdly, there are fewer tourists than locals. Which means that locals can also hurt tourists areas.

On the other hand, some people believe that tourism negatively affects tourist areas. Firstly, there are rude people who think that if they throw one piece of paper on the ground, nothing will change. They believe that if this is not their homeland, then they can behave differently. Secondly, I often heard stories about how visitors of another strange country want to take something with them as a souvenir and destroy monuments. Thirdly, tourists often interfere with the quiet life of local residents. For example, make noise or pollute the streets .

I totally disagree with second opinion. I think that if a person is brought up correctly, he cannot affort to pollute the environment in his country and abroad.

In conclusion, I want to say that tourism does not do much harm to the environment. Many people understand their responsibility.
