Everyone should spend some time serving in the Army (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Some people think that every person should spend some time in the army. They suggest it is very useful and helpful, it can give you plenty of opportunities in your life. But others are sure, it is a wrong opinion and joining the army is the worst decision.

As for me, I agree with the first group of people. The army should be compulsory for everyone for some reasons. Firstly, it develops the political and economic status of the country. The more people are taught, the more they are aware of wars, military outbreaks, problems among governments. In addition, they know how to live in extreme conditions, how to give the first aid, how to make their lives and close people s lives safer. Consequently, all the citizens will feel safe. The second reason is developing essential skills, like competitiveness, flexibility, sociability, responsibility, punctuality, cleanliness, time management.

Moreover, it aids to realize priorities, form character, worship real values, survive in danger.

At the same time, there are people who believe: serving in the army is the waste time and money. Firstly, they claim that persons do not spend enough time to master some skills. They offer to add some extra months. Secondly, men and women are sure that it is very difficult to manage to strict discipline in the army. They suggest that one exposes people to rist of having mental heath.

I do not agree with the opposing opinion because many people, who were interviewed, admitted the importance of joining army: for example, they chose a job or they found hobby. Some of them met their future husband or wife. And of course, there is strict discipline, but if it was not, the army would not develop so much skills. Moreover, the army would be weaker and poorer than now.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the army is a great experience. It does not fit for everyone, but it is a school which teaches us real difficulties and real situations. Serving in the army helps us to be stronger, smarter, plucker.
