Today, there are many social networks that allow people to communicate with each other from a distance. Sometimes people fall in love with each other in this way and have a romantic relationship. It is called online dating.

Many people think that this is inconvenient and dangerous, while the minority sees many positive aspects in such relations. Let me tell you the advantages and disadvantages of Internet dating. First of all, in my opinion it is the best way to date with somebody if a person hasn’t got any time to meet. He can work and communicate with his friend using the phone. But, unfortunately, you may soon become lonely, and another person maybe never has the opportunity to meet with you. Secondly,

If you don’t want to talk with your friend anymore, you can write to him about it, delete or block him, that is, do without quarrels that will get on your nerves and can upset you.

But the minus is that you can’t always understand what a person feels, because there is no way to see his emotions. You may mistakenly think that someone does not like you, or vice versa to think that a person loves you, although in real life he has a girlfriend.

It seems to me that online dating is popular with students. Probably because in such relationships, a boy and a girl may not have obligations to each other. This is a great way to not spend money on gifts to your friend. I can add that students study a lot, so they probably don’t have time for real meetings.

However, there are a few rules to remember while chatting with strangers on the Internet. I think that parents should know that you are communicating with someone on the Internet. You have to make sure that a person is not lying about his appearance and age. Today there is an opportunity to do it. You need to talk to this person on a video call. And you just have to be attentive with strangers.

I’m not sure that online dating can lead to dating in person, but I have read about couples who met on the Internet, but then got married in real life. I do not know how true these stories are.

In conclusion I want to say that it’s always better to be safe than sorry, so we should be attentive to people whom we have never seen in real life.
