Humanity is accustomed to living in good conditions with comfort. That is why some people think that a man could not survive in the jungle. Although others believe that people will withstand difficulties of wildlife.

In my opinion, a human cannot go through these trials. Firstly, modern people use multiple devices in their life. For example, they do not need to make a fire by themself - it is a stove`s challenge. I consider that a city resident can hardly understand how to make it. Secondly, it is hard to find some food in the jungle. For instance, he needs to know what type of plants he may consume because they can be poisonous. Thirdly, it is easy to just have a cold then a man will not have a medicine to get well.

Nevertheless, there are those who are convinced that people can survive in the jungle.

They think that humanity is so intelligent and reads a lot, so people know basic rules of survival in extreme situations. Moreover, they reckon that a desire to live can lead to developing a habit to exist in any places.

I disagree with them. We should remember that a man who occasionally appeared in the jungle is not an inhabitant. He is, definitely, scared of wild nature, so he does not concentrate on his knowledge about extreme situations because of anxiety. In addition, human`s organism may not get acclimatized because modern people live in cities. They rarely change their place of living.

To sum it up, I want to point out that a man will not survive in the jungle because humanity`s life has changed too much in comparison with previous centuries.

Thanks for your recent letter. Sorry that I didn`t answer earlier, I was busy with my school.

In your letter you asked me about my relation to Valentine`s day. Well, I don`t like it at the moment because I haven't a boyfriend. This holiday makes me sad.

In my opinion, New Year, the Men`s day and the Women`s day are popular in my country. We are off in these days.

Ok, I think that the Day of the City is popular with teens because they have an opportunity to take part in competitions, sing and dance all night long.

Besides, was your test difficult? How long did you prepare for it? Did you help your classmates during the test?
