When children reach the age of 18 and finish school they should start living on their own (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays there is an opinion that at the end of school children should move away from their parents in order to live independently. Some people think that it is true while others think differently. In my essay I am going to express my point of view and debate with the opponents.

Personally, I disagree that when children reach the age of eighteenth and finish school they should start living on their own. To begin with, upon reaching adulthood people are not adapted to a life independent of their parents. Sharp changes in young people’s life cannot be very good for them. Moreover, parents who live close by their children will be able to help them on time. It is necessary for young people especially for those who study at university.

Nevertheless, some people do not support my point of view. They believe that at the age of eighteenth people should start living separately from their parents.

If they do not do this, they will always depend on their parents.

Although I cannot agree with my opponents’ opinion. To my mind, most people who have just finished school do not have enough money to pay for housing. For this reason, they live with their parents until they finish university and find a well-paid job.

All in all, the first time after people have finished school they should live with their parents in order to have support from them. It will help young people in adaptation to adulthood. This is my opinion and I still stick to it.
