People shouldn’t be allowed to work from home because it’s less productive than being in the office (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

One issue that causes a lot of controversy these days is whether people should only work at the office or should they also be given permission to do their work from home. While some think people surely can earn money from their humble abode, others believe that it is not at all effective. Let us consider both opinions in more detail.

To my mind, people ought to have an opportunity to do their jobs not only at the office as it is not necessarily more productive and effectual. First of all, employees who work from home and entrepreneurs do not waste time on travelling to a work place, and those minutes can be spent on work instead. Secondly, for many humans home environment has a more relaxing atmosphere in which they feel more disciplined and motivated, and, as a result, do their jobs better.

However, a number of people disagree.

They state that at home there are many things for disturbance like children, household chores and others, and, therefore, workers get distracted.

Still I cannot share this opinion. While there are, undoubtedly, plenty of distractions at home, there are many in the office as well. Such as phone calls, chatty colleagues and loud bosses, for instance. Besides, at home a person can easily manage his or her own time so that the personal life does not interfere with the working one.

To conclude, despite all the mentioned above, I still believe that people should be permitted to work from their place. We need to remember, however, that for every single person there is a different opinion on the matter.
