Nowadays, there are many people suffering from excess weight, while a large number of people die due to lack of weight. Some people think that overweight is a big problem of modern society. Although others suppose that anorexia is more dangerous.

In my opinion, overweight is more serious problem than anorexia. Firstly, both men and women suffer from extra weight. Secondly, overweight people have more serious illness than skinny ones, such as diabetes, heart attack and others.

Finally, overweight people are disapproved by society.

At the same time there are people who believe that anorexia is more horrible disease. Undoubtedly, anorexia leads to inability to digest food. People, especially young girls, damage their stomachs and becomes like skeletons. They follow the fashion and get on diet thinking that starvation will lead to the best results. But everything becomes worse and worse.

However, I can not agree with this point of view. Anorexia damages one’s health, but overweight people suffer harder. Every day they face with physical and psychological problems: it is difficult to them to do physical exercises, society condemns their appearance.

All in all, I would like to say that overweight and anorexia are problems for the modern world, but the most serious is overweight.
