Does winning a lottery make you happy? (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)Winning the lottery is often seen as the pinnacle of fortune. However, is this the case? In my essay I’m going to consider this issue. On the surface, it may seem like winning $10 million in a lottery would bring unlimited happiness. A lottery winner could spend their money on vacations, luxurious cars, and parties. However, the reality is that money does not guarantee happiness. Numerous problems can arise after winning vast sums of money, and these problems can have a significant negative influence on a person's life. Firstly, sudden wealth can lead people to failure. Many lottery winners who are not accustomed to managing large sums of money irresponsibly spend their money and can quickly find themselves in financial ruin. Statistics show that a significant number of lottery winners end up losing all of their money within a few years. These individuals may become overwhelmed by their new financial status and make poor financial decisions, which can lead to bankruptcy and immense stress. Additionally, sudden wealth can influence people's behaviour and relationships. Friends and family members may become envious or resentful, which will lead to quarrels and a cessation of communication. Lottery winners often find themselves surrounded by people who are interested in their money, making it difficult to distinguish friendships from mercantile intentions. Speaking of me, winning the lottery would definitely make me happy. Money can't buy happiness, but you can buy things that will bring positive emotions and lead to happiness. In conclusion, winning a lottery may initially bring joy and excitement, allowing lottery winners to indulge in experiences and luxuries they previously could only dream of. However, money alone does not guarantee happiness, and it is essential to approach new found wealth with responsibility and caution. Обновлено: Опубликовал(а): Алина Фридман Внимание!
