Nowadays travelling is an important part of our lives. Travelling, we are studying many aspects of our lives. Also in our trips we can meet lots of amazing people and some time we want to have language skills to talk with them. Some people claim that travel has a great influence on our desire to learn languages. Others have another point of view.

In my opinion, travelling is the best motivation for us to study languages.

Firstly, many people want to communicate with native speakers fluently, understand what they are talking about and answer them clearly. Secondly, language is an integral part of any culture. Therefore, to understand how people live, their culture and philosophy, you need to know the language. Also we want to know how to be closer to different nationalities.

Nevertheless, others believe that studying languages is a useless waste of time and travelling do not worth it. They notice that you can communicate with people using the Internet, online-translator or ask for help from the guide. Moreover my opponents are sure that language is not an important part of travelling and we can live without these skills.

Despite the above-mentioned facts, I cannot agree with opposing point of view. I am firmly convinced that the absence of a language barrier will make your trip much more interesting and easier.

Besides, the experience of talking with native speakers will be completely different without gadgets or online-translators. Also Modern translator programs are far from perfect, they do not give you a guaranty that you will understand the person you are talking to.

In conclusion, I would like to say that travelling is the best motivation to study languages because it gives opportunity to talk with locals and learn more about culture of other nations. So you will be more confident and free, using language skills.
