It's always important to make a good first expression (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

The question of whether it is necessary to make people think that you are a good person in the first meeting will always be controversial. Although many people believe that people's attitude to you does not depend on your appearance, others claim that the first expression is the most significant element.

In my opinion, people usually judge a book by its cover. Firstly, if you are going to a job interview, you should look smart. If an employer does not like your appearance, you are less likely to get a position. Secondly, people can reject talking to you because they do not like how you look. It means that people will not like you if you are not well-dressed enough, even though you have a great personality.

However, not all people are ready to share my point of view. They claim that in the modern world, appearance does not mean anything.

For example, there are so many people who like wearing extravagant clothes and nobody will tell them that they are eccentric. Now it is considered to be a good sense of fashion. Moreover, if you are a smart person, people will notice and appreciate that, even though they did not like your appearance at first.

I cannot fully agree with the opinion above. Every company tries to find a person who will be looking like an intelligent one. They do not want to hire people who are just "well-dressed". Additionally, they will be unsure of you because of the first impression despite your intelligence.

In conclusion, it is better to think about how you look in the eyes of others.
