Shopping for clothes (Школьные сочинения)

Shopping is a very important part of life for all of us. Just because clothes are made for protecting us from cold, they also make us beautiful and smart, that is why we cannot do without them. In order to look fashionable and impress other people, a person may renew his wardrobe by visiting a vast variety of shops, starting with shopping malls – where one can find a lot of departments and specialized shops under one roof – and ending with small boutiques.

Well, beyond any doubt every person on the Earth, as well as me, does the shopping. According to the statistic, almost every city in Russia has at least one shopping mall. Nowadays, shopping malls seem to be very popular because of some reasons. Let us talk about our shopping mall “Ostrova”. First, there you can shop around for the best price and quality at different departments such as haberdashery, millinery, ladieswear, menswear, footwear, accessories and so on.

Second, the d&覡cor of the shopping mall and its departments attracts consumers. Actually, if you are a bargain-hunter, there you can find different discounts. Try on the clothes in the changing room and check if it suits you, fits your figure or match the pajama you wear at night.

Besides, many people can make their clothes to order. On the one hand, it is much more convenient because one can order a suitable size of a dress, a blouse or a shirt for him or her, but nevertheless it costs much more than buying ready-made dresses.

Many people cannot afford to buy expensive things or have them made to order. The fact is, there are a lot of Chinese and flea markets in our town where poor or thrifty people can buy things at low prices. As you can see, the quality of clothes there leaves much to be desired, but the reality is if you need clothing and you have run out of money you will go there.

As for me, I rarely visit shopping malls and boutiques, but if I do, I just usually do window-shopping. As you can see, I prefer buying clothes online just because it has some advantages. For example, you can do it from the comfort of your house, avoid the crowd traffic and heavy bags to carry because of the possibility of fast home delivery. Well, like in shopping malls, there is a wide choice of clothes and accessories in online shops. As usual, my shopping bag contains a pair of sneakers, black or blue t-shirts to go with jeans. I do my shopping alone but if I need to be advised, I can ask a friend for advice.
