One issue that has caused lots of controversy over the years is a gender division in education. Some people believe that that is necessary. While other people think that division is pointless.

As far as I am concerned, separating boys and girls for school is a strange and unnecessary idea.

The first thing that needs to be said is that studying together helps children to communicate with each other. They are taught to understand everyone no matter the sex. Moreover, despite all the brilliant learning opportunities sometimes pupils want to go beyond their group and experience communication with the opposite sex. If it does not happen, they may feel bored and even lose their learning motivation.

However, there exists another point of view on this issue.

Other people are convinced that schools provide its students with a chance of learning some special subjects. For example, girls can have knitting or embroidery classes while boys may get some starting military training.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with this statement because these lessons also exist in regular schools, where there is no gender division, so specialized schools for boys and girls do not make any sense.

In conclusion, I would like to say that the problem of gender division in education is still to be discussed. But I strongly believe that this division in education will never happen.
