Some of my friends say there is nothing better than reading a book while others would rather prefer its film version. (Сочинения ЕГЭ английский язык)

Nowadays the choice between a piece of literature and its screen version has become a controversial issue. While the majority claim movies is the most attractive option, some people are confident in there belief reading initial text million times more exciting. Let me speculate on this topic.

From my point of view, there is no substitute for a book. To begin with, only printed pages give readers an opportunity to familiarize themselves with all the author`s nuances and emotions. Unfortunately, film-makers frequently distort the original core and significance of the plot.

Moreover, reading implies the work of imagination so people are capable of getting into a new reality just with the power of fancy.

However, there are those, who feel certain of a great appeal of film versions. They attribute there conviction to the fact that it is really time-consuming. Possibly, watching a movie made on the basis of a book saves hours and energy.

Nevertheless, I cannot agree with the abovementioned opinion. In fact, sometimes a few books transform into the endless episodes of series like ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ became a long television drama ‘A Game of Thrones’, for instance.

To sum up, I would like to note that I strongly believe there is nothing better than reading a book because a text always reflects as vivid images in people`s mind.
