The question of whether watching a screen version of a book is worse than reading it will always be controversial. Although many people think that reading books is better than watching films, others tend to disagree.
In my opinion, reading books is more pleasurable. Firstly, most movies omit essential parts of a book. They do it because they have a limit in time, while writers are unlimited. It means that an author can tell the whole story without missing anything. Secondly, it takes more time to read a book than to watch a film. You can dive deeper into the narration. It will allow you to rethink some moments to understand them better.
However, not all people are ready to share my point of view. They claim that, nowadays, people do not have enough time to read a whole book. It means that most of us will never finish a book we read because we are too busy with our everyday routine. They state that watching a film can be a time for a rest, which is not true about reading a book.
I cannot fully agree with the statement above. As I see things, books can develop our brain. Even though all of us are too busy, we need to find time to read at least ten pages per day. Moreover, after a couple of hours, you will get used to reading, and it will become even a better way to relax.
To sum up, I believe that book is better than its screen version because it has more benefits than watching a film.
